ok, ive read some threads about silencers, and theres the inevitable jackass that says, "you shouldnt have gotten an aftermarket exhaust if you didnt want it to be loud", and "just add a resonator". ok, my setup is 3" mandrel bent (gettin ready for turbo), TWIN 18" resonators, 3" center/center universal magnaflow muffler, and a cat. ok, i have a tip on the end that bends down a bit, so i cant get one of those silencers that just bolts on the tip. i need something that can go in the piping before the muffler, and preferably without drilling any holes. currently im looking at the dynatech vortex insterts, but i dont know how effective they are. cant find too much info on them. anyways, lemme know! i need one soon. oh yeah, im aimin to kill some of the low down sound. the droning makes my head hurt...

all my silencer does is slide in the muffler and makes the tip smaller which in turn makes less noise. so the only thing i can think of for you is to get a smaller tip because that is what "amplifies" the noise

oh weird, I've seen those tiny 1.5" pipes inside 3" tips before - I didn't realize it was a silencer.

bump! anyone else know of any silencers? theres got to be lots of companies that make em! ive heard about magnaflow ones, but i cant find anything on there site.
