Inline Fuel Filter Questions (Cleaning up and Wire Tucking Bay)
I have searched endlessly for the past month or so on some information or a how to on installing an inline fuel filter in place of the stock unit. I want to relocated my fuel filter down lower on the fire wall to make it less visible. I planned on using an earl's -6an unit like i saw on some vehicles on here. I guess my questions would be.
A) Do i cut the fuel sending hardline down low and attach my stainless line and fittings from the cut line to the filter then out to the rail? If this sounds right ->
B) Do i then re-flare the hardline and attach the fitting to the flared end proceed? My problem i supposed is that i am new and unfamiliar with a.n. fitting and am unsure of sizing and compatibility. If someone could shed some light with some pics and a parts list that would be.
