What do you think is better for CAI?

Well I am not sure, I have used both but on different cars and I like both. They are both pretty much the same from what I think.

Any difference between regular AEM and v2?

Coupe d 'Etat94 04-01-2004 10:40 PM

I think that new v2 intake has some kinda duel chamber type thing where it is suppose to suck more air in not very sure???

TheConnecticutKid 04-01-2004 10:50 PM

The new V2 is supposed to produce more hp than the injen but the old aem was rated lower. Injen's big selling point is "dyno proven results''. i got the box behind me to prove it https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

i run comptech ice box. it use's this "foam filter". i dunno about dyno results but its the only type of CAI i would run, because its almost impossible to suck up water

$30 ram air tube with $50 K&N 8" cone https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

A tube is a tube...it's all in the filter.

Re: injen vs aem? (CivHatchH22)

i would just leave the stock box on unless your looking for top end power because you get the most torque out of a stock intake but other than that an intake is an intake. I would go with the least expensive one but then again i have an aem intake so there u go. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

How much could I get a AEM v2 for? I found one for $245 shipped. Is that a good price.

illicon2003 04-02-2004 06:17 PM

the difference between the v2 and the CA is a sticker. buy mine.
