Injectors not firing after swap (LS->92 CX)
I've got a thread in the hybrid forum as well, but I wanted to try this one as well.
I've got a 1992 CX and I put an OBD-1 LS motor in it using the LS engine harness and a P72 ecu. For some reason the fuel injectors aren't firing. With the key "ON" they see 12v like they should, the fuel pump is working correctly, and the motor has spark. I tried changing the distributor, using the CX ecu, and changing the main relay with no luck. I checked all the fuses and they appeared to be OK. The only codes i'm getting are for the o2 heater circuit( O2 sensor not hooked up) and VTEC solenoid (N/A).
Someone has suggested that I try the CX engine harness but I can't see where it would make a difference (92 is prewired for the 4-wire O2).
I know the P72 isnt ideal but I know people who have used it on LS swaps with no real issues.
I know there is some way to check to see if the injector plugs on the shock tower are seeing a ground pulse but I haven't figured out how...
So, if anyone can think of something I've overlooked or maybe specific fuses/voltages/resistances to check let me know...
