Injector stupidity
I have a mildly built y7 with y8 head and y8 intake TB and computer.
Now, cars runs a little strange at times and i blame injectors.
The Y7 uses 190cc
The Y8 uses ???? (only part number the same is the late 90's B16)
The b18b injectors are 240cc
My swap didnt come with injectors cause I was told B18B integra injectors are the same.
Upon looking AT Part numbers.... They are not the same.
HELP WITH PLEASE ASAP

They are NOT THE SAME i checked the part numbers. The y8 and b16 are the same.
the b18b and b18c are diff. part numbers from y8 or b16.
this makes not sense

i tried running a b20 on the y7 injectors and couldn't figure out why it ran bad. I didn't know that the y7's were 190cc. I threw in some gsr injectors I had laying around, and it ran 10 times better.

As long as you're running a 240cc injector it shouldn't be a problem.
BTW: b16 injectors are 240cc like the gsr's. Y8's are also 240cc.

IIRC the y8's are 235 and the b16's are 240. regardless it's close enough.
z6 and y8 head gaskets are IDENTICAL, it's been measured + calc'd. however part numbers are different.

I agree the y7 are 190cc

but what are b16 y8?
this is all i need to know its just curious as i know i need to change my b18 injecters to b16 or y8 ones.

I just found out this is a FYI
ALL B18b and B18C use 235cc
D16y7 use 180cc
D16y8 use 240cc
B16 use 240cc
D16 Z6 use 235cc
F22 use 235cc
D15 use 235cc
and so on

just to clear all this up:

all other D's and B's use 240 (short injectors) except DPFI and the obd1 cx/vx.
there are NO 235cc injectors (well, might be, but there are either 235 or 240 not both, people call them both because of variances from the factory.
