i was hooking my harness up today and my conectors for the injectors dont match up. its a gsr head with prelude injectos. the motor came out of a 91 hatch do i need injectors out of a newer car.

What year are the injectors from, and what year is your car?

i think obd1 and obd2 injector wires are where the diff comes from. i'm guessing you have a obd2 harness and obd1 injectors.

i'm thinking the easiest fix is to get the right injectors, because this way you won't have to do any wire cutting/repinning. you should be able to find out easily in a search which injectors have the right flow and fit to replace what you have.

the other option is to wire in the right connectors. do a very very professional job at this or have someone with plenty of experience with this type of work do it for you (if you can't)

my car is a 94 hatch obd1 the motor is a ls v-tec its a 96 gsr head that came off another motor that was in a obd0 hatch.

Is the wiring harness the one from your car or the one from the GSR head? What year are the Prelude injectors (and why do you have them on your car?).

Also, it's VTEC, not v-tec. There's no hyphen. It should say so right on your valve cover.
