you have to cut your stock regulator in half pretty much and throw away the top portion

You have to cut the stock FPR in half just above the ridge and then you use the supplied hardware to install the tophat. You can probably get exact instructions from B&M's website since their pressure regulator works the same way.

My question is why are you installing this at all?

well actually my air/fuel ratio gauge has been showing me super rich conditions(the rich part of the gauge is all the way to the max) and my car runs like ****, but theirs no check engine light either, i changed my stock FPR but still no luck, some members say that i should get something like this to help wit my fuel pressure, Is that really true? i havent got to drive my car on the highway for a bout 2 months already...

You shouldn't need an adjustable FPR to allow a relatively stock engine to run properly. What is your current setup?

You're wasting your time with a FPR on a stock car. Pulleys and MSD ignition wont do any good for you either.
