Infinite Wisdom Requested
Alright, I need some good advice. Im a "newbie" and I just bought a 99 EX and I'm thinking about doing a b18C1 engine swap. My biggest question is... Should I try to get my hands on an engine and perform the operation on my own OR should I save up and have King Motorsports build one and do the swap for me?

Do your swap yourself. It isn't that hard, and it is definitly fun. Plus, all your friends will give you props for years to come!
I am working on my second now.

i say DIY(Do It Yourself) so if you ever run into a broken axle or a you need a clutch replacement you would know how to do it.

I think you should do it yourself! Gives you a whole bunchof pride. Also when something needs fixing there is a good chance you will be able to do it noproblem instead of being afraid you would screwthings up! King does great work but does charge a arm and a leg!

Well, that depends on how much you know about cars. Do you know enough to put it in? If you do and you have all the equipment, do it yourself.

Yeah, I would have bought an Si or even a GSR but because of my pathetic chum-bucket of a town, I have to drive atleast 30 minutes just to see an import dealership. I car shopped for a long time, driving up to suburbs of chicago and the like and didn't find anything worth my hard earned cash. This red ex popped up only a half hour from my house and it was a good deal so I decided to buy it.
