Not if there is no budget. And out of those Nitrous is about your only option. The rest is useless.

Without a budget no one can advise you.

on a sohc turbo is the only way to go anything else wont make a difference and will set you back a couple hundred bucks, i say wait until you have enough for a turbo get some vitara pistons and rods get some head studs get a passive tune and call it a day

i think hes saying the cost of a turbo set up is out of reach. you gotta figure out a budget that you can spend then go from there.

On a D-series, unless you go turbo you're wasting money.

thats why i said for him to wait until he has enough money for a turbo build that way he can get the bank for his buck, anything else like cams valve springs bigger intake manifold and such are not gonna make a noticeable difference and is gonna set him back a couple hunderds

Nothing! You can do NOTHING to make your Del Sol faster if you have no money. Nothing.
A tune? For a stock engine? Waste. Of. Money.

Then spend the next month or so reading up on turbos. Start with this.

Considering you didn't even know what engine was in your car you have a lot of research to do.

Find steep hill and drive downhill, your car will feel much faster.

Both grumblemarc & I have turbo D's, I can guarantee we both did tons of research before doing anything. Go to d-series.org and read up.
