I own a 1992 Honda Civic DX HB. I want to build her up from the engine to sound...Any suggestions help. I am aiming for street clean/legal but some power to back it up. I would like to stay or go supercharged cuz i dont have the areas around or the need for a turbo it would rarely be used...Suggestions on everything plz.
>Exterior-(JDM Clean with a hint of uniqueness)
>Interior-(Black with some darp purple)
>Performance(Steet legal but enough power to back it up)
>Sound(Nothing too big i just want to hear myself but still sound good in the process)
>Etc(Any places around Middle Tennessee that do custom fab jobs,misc ideas,etc)

How have you narrowed it down between h22 and b16? There's .6 L of difference in displacement.

What's your beef with a turbo? you trying to be different?

An h22 in any civic with a decent driver is a fast street car.

I suggest you hang out on this site for about 2-3 months before you decide what to do. In the long run, you'll really know what you want. And not have wasted money on reupholstering your car in purple and buying useless body kits.

H-T in general isn't very big on loud sound systems, money better spent in suspension parts.

well im leaning more towards the H22(More base power and less common around here in the middle of nowhere...). I want to stick with NA being as i wont have to worry about lag. id never get the full potential of a turbo out of the city driving that lately i have been restricted to.
the reupholstering of purple was just a thought.( I mean it would have to be a dark purple to match the paint scheme.)
I want aiming for a useless bk...just a kit thats close enough to stock that it doesnt kill my eyes...either that or fix my stock bumpers and skirts...from all the abuse(dont ask)

About the system.I was just aiming for something small that i could hear it and not worry about cops...being as my other got stolen. I just want to replace the system and do a tad of upgrading to fit my humble style...theres also alot extra i have been thinking about ...i will update the list when i figure out more.
