how high will the rpm's go just all the way to the rev limiter. it prob wont hurt to let it see how high it goes but if it goes past 4krpm i would turn it off. it prob has something to do with ur throttle body cables and throttle body

Yeah check the adjustment on the TB and all the TB cables, might be sticking or may need adjusting

Any CELs? Sounds like you missed a vacuum port or you didn't hook one up correctly.
If you're running a stock ECU on a stock motor it's not going to hurt anything to let the rpms keep climbing. It'll hit the rev limiter & it'll cut the fuel.

check tb and cable to make sure theres enough slack not to pull on the tb. make sures theres no vaccumleaks either. when i got my itr on, there was a nipple on the back of my manifold i had to tap off because it did the same thing.

Re: (Andres-eh2)
check and make sure all your sensors are plugged in right
triple check them, i had the same problem and it turned out 3 of my sensors were plugged in wrong (but only threw one code), and i had a vacuum leak
the tps and the map sensor i think are the same plug
and the iacv, iat, and one other one around the back there are the same plug
(at least on my d series )
