im officailly grind free!!

a couple of months ago my tranny was diagnosed with 2nd and 3rd gear grind really bad. well today i put in some gm synchromesh. i felt a difference on the very first shift. i ve driven it for 4 miles with the synchromesh in there and it feels great. is it true it takes like 500 miles to break in? if so i guess it will only get better. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif for gm synchromesh

I'm thinking about throwing some in tomorrow, even though I'm grindless (on a 00 Si tranny, none the less).

Actually, I used to grind pretty badly until the weather got warmer. Guess I should do it before winter takes its toll.

Use Pennzoil sycrnomesh, it's the same as the GM, same part number and everything and all, and half the cost.
