Im New to hondas
I just bought a 1995 Civic 4 door. I have no idea what model as it has been debadeged. The motor is SOHC and hs the Plug wires on the fire wall side of the Valve covers. This car is my track car project. I was wondering No. 1 what motor have i got. Im used to 350,351,383 and such and this goofy b18c5d4e or whatever crap has got me confused. Alos since suspension is the main focus of this car (its a 4 door 5 speed by the way) waht would be better Coilovers springs and struts/Schocks and what would be a good brand at decent price. Teins are nice but to damn expensive.
Sorry for all the noob questions but american cars are really all i have dealy with.

tokico illuminas and some eiback sportlines is a nice setup...whats the engine code on your car...look down right next to where the header is on the left side..there should be an engine code right there

koni yellows and some good springs is another good setup. as for what kind of engine just check down by where the bleeder valve is for the clutch and you will see an engine code. most likely starting with a "D". for instance my engine is a D15B7
