You're gonna have to move the white box from the auto shifter into N to start the car. It's kind of a cool anti theft feature if you hide it somewhere....or you can just solder it to the N position. good luck, it's gonna be night and day diff in acceleration.

I'm doing this conversion in about 2 weeks. I have all the parts needed. Here's your list. By the way unless what you mentioned about the white box is special to a 92...You'll need to make sure it's in [P]ark. Have you ever tried starting an automatic in [N]eutral? It wont happen, Son.
Tranny
Tranny Mounts
Clutch
Flywheel
Pressure Plate
Slave Cylinder
Master Cylinder
Hard & Soft Lines
Pedal Assembly
Shift Linkage

you also have to get a chip takin out of your ecu. if you dont then you are going to throw a cel. i think that you have to remove rp18 and gap rp17 not 100% sure might be the other way around.(may want to search) did it on one of my single cams worked fine.

You are right...it has to be in park. It was a long time ago that I did this conversion now I remember that it was in Park but the P and the N will flash on the dash
