Default im confused , please help wire it up .

ok well i picked up a used APEXi VAFC today . i have a b16 sir II .
im running a ITR ecu . where can i get the directions on how to install the vafc to that ecu ? i know i can download the wiring diagram at: apexi-usa.com . but imnot sure at what diagram to look at . since im running the itr ecu with the b16 . can anyone point me to the right direction or explain how to wire the vafc to the itr ecu ? thanks in advance .

its bassically on the site just look at the diagram that looks like the plugs on the ecu i have a gsr ecu with a b16 sir2 engine also and its the ecu should be the same for both of is its pretty much straight foward if you read it through

wich one do i look at ? the updated one or the regular manual diagram ? one is like the whole manual . and the other link is one that shows like 4 different ecu's . wich is it ?

Which year ITR ECU are you running?

VAFC - Updated wiring diagrams

And if you read the updates 'notes', you'd see that things are the same except for the addition of one wire - the VTM wire.

look at the one that look s like your ecu i think its h 2 diagram thats what i used im not sure though but just look at your ecu plus and see which one looks liek in the diagram and go from tehre on teh on this sitehttp://www.apexi-usa.com/produ...c.pdf

well i installed it . it was actually easy to install . it was just an issue on understanding the diagram . thanks every one for the help ..... now my problem is trying to adjust the VAFC . im running a b16 sir II engine my mods are : I/H/E , intake manifold , test pipe , fuel pressure regulator ( set at 38 psi ) im also running a ITR ecu . where should i set my settings at with my setup ? or should i just keep it at stock settings ? if so whats the stock settings ? i purchased this used so im not sure if its at stock settings .

Stock settings would just be zeroed out - so just reset the unit.

But to tune the VAFC with the particular mods you have would mean getting on a dyno and doing a full pulls. Or if you have a wideband O2, you could try and tune it yourself.

Not to be mean or anything, but if you're asking how to zero it out...it would probably be best you wait to go to a shop with a dyno before you do some damage to your beloved motor. My .02.

i want to zero it out because i dont want to damage anything . im askin WHAT should i zero out . theres a few things you can adjust and im just trying to make sure what i should zero out . but yeah im leaving the tuning to the pro's still in need of what i should set to zero in particular .

My guess would be all the fuel increments. It's listed in the settings under HI and or LO if I remeber mine correctly.
