i'm confused.. d15b engine
i have a d15b sohc vtec engine with custom header,cold air intake, a aem tru time adjustable cam gears..
i installed a skunk2 stage2 camshaft.. before installing it i ran 15.6sec in a quarter mile.. after installing it i ran 15.8...
what did i do wrong? did i installed the wrong type of cams? i mean my cams being stage 2 matter that much? what can i do... pls help guys...

Did you get a tune on your car after the cams? You really need to tune your car when upgrading internals like that. Also, did you just install the cams with stock retainers, springs etc etc.. or did you upgrade those too? It is not good to use a stock valve train with Stage 2's I think. More than likely though, you just need to get it tuned to run right with those cams.

i already had it tuned, but not in a dyno... some people told me that i should have settled for stage 1s.. and that i need more compresion... well is that true?
