Default ignition timing in a y8

got my car back with my crower cam and AEM gear and springs/reatiners and the ignition timing is off, everytime i idle and dont give it a shitload of gas it stalls. the car is throwin a 71 & 72 which is a cylinder misfire in 1 and 2. now the guy who put it in said i might have to get a new ecu, or reprogram the one i have. does anyone have any experience with this cam and what you needed to do to make your car run right or to idle somewhat well? this seems like a little much just to make it run. thanks

you might want to fix that before you try anything else.

Well jackass, take it back to the jackass who installed it, since he is the jackass who fucked it up. Also, try it with the stock cam gear, you might have gotten ahold of the wrong cam gear, since AEM makes two differant ones for the D series motors.
