ignition timing?
hey guys, i am having problems trying to get my dohc zc to start..
the funny thing is i don't know how to time a honda.. for as long as i have toyed with hondas and switched dizzy, i have NEver had to time it, so i need some help by the basics...
I HAVE SEARCHED.. got alot of results but not Quick step by step

depending on your engine, most d-series have 2 marks on the crank pulley one white and one red. the white mark is crank tdc, the red mark is the one you want to use to time if you do not have an ajustable timing gun.
obviously, you need to have the correct crank pully for your engine if you are going to do it this way..
if you do have an adjustable timing gun, use the white mark and adjust you gun for the # specified for you engine (check your manual, not the same for all hondas)
use the pointers on the lower timing belt cover to line up on the mark.
and don't forge about the service jumper like i just did.

yea i have an adjustable one that hooks up into your rpm and stuff but it's not even wanting to crank now! i have tried to time it time and again!
