ignition switch question for a 95 hatchback????
i have a 95 hatchback and need 2 change the whole ignition switch........ retail stores are tryin 2 charge me between 210 and 345 just for he frickin dam thing... but i saw on ebay sum people are sellin dem for 50 or 60 but there from an auto del sol.... would that assembly still work on mines???

Wanna do this on the cheap? Leave the old inoperable one in there, buy a $5.99 weatherproof sealed ignition BUTTON at Schucks, hide it under the dash, and wire that instead. Maybe a few toggle switches to turn on and off the batt. I bought one from Ignited, glows green, looks cool, works great. When people at ork need to move my car they get pissed cause they can't figure out how to start my car, it's awesome. Maybe an anti theft device as well? Hell, I'M awesome.

well if you don't wanna pay all that you could go to a junk yard and pull it your self for most likely a cheaper price..and yes you can run an auto ignition harness in a 5-speed car.i wouldn't trust ebay or if you do buy make sure they have as close to a 100% feedback as possible.
EDIT: as long as the del sol is an obd1 it will work because the plugs are the same through out
