Ignition problems with a 92 dx
Hey guys I have a quick question. I bought a 92 civic dx 4 door as my winter car and as of late i'm having some problems. At any random time while driving or idling, the car misfires occasionally, and sometimes it will die. One of the previous owners put a msd distributor cap and external coil on a otherwise stock car. I went out and bought a new ignition coil and distributor cap but dont know where the ignition coil goes or where it's located. I tried the search but it's currently not working for me. If you have any pictures to go along with your info I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Re: Ignition problems with a 92 dx
by buy a new ignition coil and cap i hope you mean OEM or OEM equivelent? If thats the case then I would trace the ignitition wires pre and post distributor to find it. It has to be somewhere along the lines of that system
