Default Ignition problem

To start off, I have a 00 SI and it has an ignition problem. Sometimes it would start normally with the key or remote start. Now the problem is that when I turn the car on with the key, it makes the "EERRAAKKKK" sound but still turns on. To prevent the sound, I would have to turn the key real fast, like .5 seconds, any longer and it will make the sound.
Also, sometimes with key or remote start, the car wont even turn on, it would just keep trying until I try like 10 seconds later. And sometimes when the car is on, it dies out after 5 seconds, and so on. I'm assuming its the ignition switch, I'm not sure, any help? Thanks

btw it has 49000 miles on it and I changed sparkplugs and wires a couple of monthes ago
