Here's where to concentrate:
1) The igniter may be bad.
2) The Yel/Grn wire between the igniter and ECU may be bad (open or short).
3) The Blk/Yel wire between distributor 2P connector and ignition switch may be bad. There should be battery voltage with the key turned to ON(II).

How do I test it, I just got a muiltmeter today and not sure how to test mine I had the same problem as this old thread.

No it does not start and run but it turn over
And also I have the external coil (5 wires to the distributor)
