Left the store a little while ago and by not paying any attention I put my brothers 95 eg6 key in the ignition and worked fine with no trouble turning or anything. Felt as if it was my regular key. Got home pulled in the garage and attempted to turn the car off and the key WOULD NOT move or anything! At that point I noticed I had put in my brothers key . Fought with it a little and managed to turn the car off. If you count the clicks or sections whatever it's called to turn on the car it's one turn for the radio second for radio/power battery third turning on the car. Well I got the key to where the radio is on and battery isn't. This key is stuck and I mean STUCK! anyone have any tips??

Sorry for the long story just trying to give you an idea of what I'm dealing with.

theres some way you can pull out the tumbler from the lock cylinder with the key but i'm not sure how its done (its done when locks are changed etc)

its sorta like having the key in either I or II position and sticking a pin into some part of the ignition cylinder and it will allow the tumbler to be pulled out by the key

turn the wheel right and left and try jiggling the key out.

ive done this to a friends car. i just kept trying to jiggle it out. don't get frustrated and force it. keys break easy. eventually after like 5-10 mins I got it out. GL

For future reference I took off the plastic shell coverof the steering wheel removed both screws from the ignition opposite side of where the key goes got vise grip pliers pulled out with vise grips and while pulling out turned both the pliers and key to off position and the key came out with no problem.

By pulling out with the vise grips I mean after removing the two screws that hold the ingition part there's that part. That's what I pulled out while turn the key and it worked no problem.
