Ignition/fuel problems
OK guys im REALLY stumped on this one. Ill start with some background info.
1992 civic HB w/ 1998 GSR swap
few boltons including sk2 IM, AEM fuel rail, DC headers, ect..
Car is tuned on Crome Pro via a P28 ECU.
The problem is when im driving and put in it nutural to coast, or when im at a stoplight the car misses sometimes, and even more rare it will miss 2-3 times and shut off.. The car will IMMEDIATLY start as soon as I turn the key.
This problem does not happen all the time, as a matter of fact, it didnt happen all weekend until tonight on my way home, it missed a few times, died a few times, then it was fine for the rest of the ride home.
I already replaced the Main Relay in hopes that would fix the problem.
I do NOT believe this is a fuel issue, because of how the car shuts off and starts right back up. It sounds more of an ignition problem.
H-T come help this noob out

Re: Ignition/fuel problems (z6hatchboy)
Plug gaps are OK, I just pulled them out and checked about a week ago..
The problem has been happening for about a month now. It actually just started stalling out for like a week and a half though.
Cap/Rotor were replaced less than a month ago.

Re: Ignition/fuel problems (slowteg90)
The car also has a bad TPS. Its been bad the whole time ive owned the car and ive never had any problems so I doubt its that. I just havn't gotten around to replacing it.

Yeah thats true, it's just weird that the TPS would not cause a problem until now.. Oh well, ill start looking for a replacement locally.

by any chance is your radiator low at all? sometime if you have a blown headgasket when water leaks into your cylinder it will get too much in and cause it to not fire then you're running on 3 cylinders and it will shut off. just tryin to think outside the box for ya. try the tps sensor first though.

Fred @ HPC tuned the car, im sure its not the tune.
As for the head gasket comment, no, its not the head gasket.
