Alrighty folks mechanically bone stock EJ6 (ignoring the head unit and some necessary body work post collision and recent windshield replacement related body work) has a problem with the ignition cylinder. Issue is the damn thing jammed and wouldn't turn the key past the initial position (i.e. 0 or whatever the one when you first put the key in). Since I know the correct way to slide a WORKING cylinder out I got a replacement unit from the local pick and pull but unfortunately the key to my current jammed one was misplaced about a week ago along with the rest of the key ring (apt key, building key, etc)....at which point I found out that the shop that was subcontracted to do my body work last month decided to keep the spare key I gave them to move the car around while there !!!!!

Is there ANY way to get the cylinder out so that I can slide the replacement in without my key barring calling a locksmith?
