Just got it up and going after not running for 6 years... Has a leak from the vtec solinoid (awaiting gasket to come in) and anytime i get close to 6k rpm ignition breaks up badly...the tach flips out on the high side and won't stop fliping out till I shift or let off the gas long enuf... Sometimes it throws a code when this happens, however the ecu dumps it when I shut the car off, allways doing something important that I can't exactly pull over and pull it with the car on...

I've done some searching using google and I'm seeing bad ignightor or the code could be vtec pressure switch...

Any other idea's...

I'm going to go out tonight and try to get it to throw the code again...

ok figured a few things out...

I replaced the vtec solinoid gasket...
It acually starts breaking up around 4k...
I can't get it to throw the code again...
I don't think vtech is hitting at all...
2nd gear it doesent break up as bad but still does...

Any thoughts???
