I have an EXmag on my 92 civic EX, I love it. Here's a link to some movies that I made, but there pretty big cause they're from a 4.1mp digi. also the exhaust note is much louder because of the header, before I put on my header, it was just a little deeper then stock (actually liked it a bit better then). The intake is still louder then the exhaust. the exhaust is only slightly louder then stock inside the car. The mic on my camera is very sensitive to bass, so you might notice that it's a bit softer sounding in real life....

like other's have said so far, on my EJ1 the intake IS louder then the exhaust. the intake will get quieter when I installed my header. Over 2 1/2 yrs now on this exhaust and I have not been pullled over for my exhaust. In fact I have had a police officer complement me on the nice quiet sound of the exhaust compared to the normal rattling sounds of other import exhaust he normally cite them for being too loud.
BTW for some people who "claims" the exmag is too restrictive. Here's a thought, unless you plan to add a turbo, nitrous, supercharger, or run a high compression engine(all these 1.6-1.8L all motor STILL need some backpressure). The RS*R exmag is perfectlly suited for your daily driver/ strip car.

I'm planning on this very same exhaust setup. I've heard nothing but good about it, on here or HS.
I'm planning an all motor route for the b16 thats in the car now... stroker kit, cams, I/H/E

btw if you haven't searched around, here's a nice link. if anyone knows where to get the catback cheaper, post it up. but I don't think 600 is a bad price for a highly regarded, good sounding catback setup.

i suppose its not really made by a brand name or anything, i just had the muffler shop make me one that would fit, the guy even threw in an o2 bung for the sensor, but its straight through and has noticable gains, only downside is that it smells like a school bus!!!

Re: if you have an RSR exmag, i wanna hear from you!!! please! (retarded)
bought mine locally for like $465, it is definitely a sweet exhaust.
i doubt it will ever be replaced with anything else.

I have a b18c swap in my 00 hatch with honda JDM headers and the ex mag sounds awesome. The muffler shop had to mount the the muffler a little bit lower (they bent the brackets) to accommodate for the CTR rear lip. Bought mine from E-bay for about $530.

I got mine from alternative motoring for $290 a couple years back when RS*R wasn't selling in the States anymore. It was the last one that they had, I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
p.s. Alternative doesn't carry RS*R anymore, and there is no point in waiting for them to be this price again anywhere, cause they won't be that price ever again unless they stop importing.

were a authorized rsr dealer and ill beat any price...
But anyways on subject. I think i will be treating myself to one of these. You would be surprised as to how many of the honda guys are buying these and its because it has such a simple look and great sound. Ive heard it on a couple cars and i just can't believe how clean it is through out the entire power band. Where as most exhausts get raspy up top especially the gsrs', Si's and Rs this one stays mellow without sacrificing power.
Just my .02.....

the rs*r ex-mag is moderately expensive, but it's a worthwhile investment.
my first upgrades after my engine swap were a greddy 4-1 header mated with an ex-mag. loud as hell in the cabin, but you barely hear anything outside.
i'd recommend the rs*r ex-mag to anyone
