If you had 6000$ what would you do?
Well after my supra got tottaled, im getting about 3800-4200$ back from insurance, on top of what ever i can get for my supra shell/motor which has well over $1000 into the motor which is a jdm 7mgte, plus money frm my parents
i want an eg or a crx, then i want to build a motor up for it what rout should i go? there was a eg coupe with a gsr swap in the classifieds i really want to look into getting that, but if that doesnt work what would you do with about 6g's to spend?
should i put a downpayment on a wrx? rsx?
or buy a eg and swap a motor?
any adivce is welcome

look on craigslist.
I have seen many swapped civics ho for around that price, if that is what you want.
dont be anxious and take the first thing you see that you can buy, there are some people who come into money problems and end up selling really good cars for cheap.

Buy a hatch/coupe and swap it yourself, with that kind of money you could easily have a car with a swap and nice suspension.

Damn 6g's! I would kill for that much to spend on a car. I guess it matters what your looking to do with this car and go from there. I got a clean EG8 from a guy in Torrance for 2k with some simple things done but I don't like buying cars that are pretty much are ready done being worked on cause it's just not your car and was the other person's creativity that got it to the place that it's in. Just get a nice stock car with nothing done and start out from scratch with a nice clean platform to work from.

i would put 6000 down on a new nissan frontier truck and stop daily driving my car so the money i do spend on it can be more directed into track performance instead of everyday maintenance

Considering you are 18 years old and most likely don't have a well-paying full-time job (i.e. one that you can support yourself with), I'll give you my opinion:

With the jobs available to the average 18 year old, I am going to assume you don't have either. Debt is something you don't want to get involved with, especially before college.

Just keep saving... Get ur *** a job, an education etc. When you get around 9-11 thousand saved... Buy urself something nice. I.E Huffy Bike etc

Save it up and put it toward an M3. Extremely fast stock and you'll get all the girls.
