idling issues on my b16a swap
ok got a b16a3 swap in my 93 hatch. been running good but now its idling more now after i left my headlights on and it drained my whole battery. took the battery to autzone and got it recharged and now it would idle from 700-1300 rpm when im in nuetral or full stop. at start up it idles fine at about 1500 until it is warm. this only happens when i start driving. just cleaned my iacv, new spark plugs, and compression is good all 210/205/210/205. can idling issues be due to my ecu or maybe should i reset my ecu?

Re: idling issues on my b16a swap
ok i will try to bleed the coolant system first. i never knew bleeding the coolant would help with idle or have anything to do with idle issues at all haha.

Yeah, a lot of things can cause an erratic idle. If bleeding your coolant system doesn't work then it should be your FITV, here's a DIY on how to clean it

%75 of the time an erratic idle is caused by your IACV or FITV, (on an DOHC anways) and since you already cleaned your IACV, the next step is the FITV.
Try that and see if it doesn't fix it.
Goodluck!
