idling issue

Default idling issue

just swapped an a6 into a 93 civic sedan i fired it up and the rpms are bouncing up and down. from 1k to 3k rpm. any suggestions?

need alittle more info on the setup. what wire harness intakemanifold and all thing that would affect idle

go with the obvious idle air control valve......then vaccuum leaks ect.

why the hell would you need more info...either its the IACV(which was mentioned), possible vacuum leaks(like was mentioned also, ot the TPS...those are usually the culprits and if not than its usually an ecu problem...so any wire harness, intake mani, model, make, year their all pretty irrelevant to the problem

i used the stock d15b7 wiring harness that came on the car.. previous owner decided not to put any oil in the engine so it seazed up. does anybody have the firing order for d15b7?

yeah i can hear the fuel pump when i turn the key, i checked the fuel return line if theres fuel when i crank the engine and there is

it may be the ignitor in the dizzy......or the coil....theres somethin wrong with the distributor you just have to troubleshoot now...i think the idle fluctuation might have been bad timing all along so i would replace the dizzy or its internals...just my opinion
