Icon2 idle.. throttle body.. intake manifold..

sup guys.

i got a 93 civic D15B7 motor...

i just cleaned out my THROTTLE BODY and after a good warm-up i noticed my idle sits in between 0-1rpm (.5rpm) during the warm-up it'll sit at 1rpm or just a tad bit if anything..

and before i cleaned the throttle body it would idle at either 1rpm or 2rpm

my QUESTION IS.

What is the NORM for Idle?

Would i have to clean the intake manifold also?

do you mean 0-1k rpms? and .5 as in 500 rpms?

my 90 civic si with a Zc sohc idles around 500-550rpms. i perfer the lower rpm like that, but it can be annoying also.

and in the haynes manual my 97 civic with a d16y7 is supposed to idle around 700-750 rpms.

Please be a little more clear you car won't run at 100 rpms let alone 1. that being said 750 +/- 50 is the norm

i cleaned out my throttle body and iacv and played with the adjustable screw.. it was tight the the max.

it idles (from the looks of it) 760 - 800rpm.

does your fuel gauge fluctuate up and down while drinving? and when you stop it finally shows the true reading of the fuel level??????

Check (and if necessary) replace the fuel sender.
