Default Idle surge problem

I did a quick search on this problem I'm having. Didn't find anything that matches my problem.

When the car is cold and I start my 94 Del sol (B16) the idle is steady. But if I try to drive the car before it warms up, the idle starts surging from 1000-2500rpms, sometimes dying. I have replaced the idle control valve, but the idle still wiggs out once in a while. What else could it be? All this started after I had the Skunk2 stage 1 cams installed. The shop that installed the cams has already adjusted the valves twice, timed the car twice, and checked everything for leaks. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Have you checked for any vaccum leaks? Maybe your timing is off a tooth or so? When I changed my cam gears and didn't align the cam gears up, my car did the same thing, I was one tooth off on my intake side.

Yes I did check for vacuum leaks. But I never even though of the cams being off a tooth. Thanks for the advice!
