i did what every one told me to do. i took of the IACV and cleaned the ***** out of it. put new O rings on put it back and my engine is still reving up and down from a cold start. seems like alot of people have this problem but never really fix it. some people told me to bleed the IACV but how do you do that? HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY FIXED THIS ON THEIR CAR BEFORE AND HOW DID YOU DO IT(step by step info would be nice)? thats all i want to know. i searched but it all comes up with half assed answers. thanx

mine seem to happen only when its a really hot day outside, probably the mapping on my p28........ check for vaccum leaks, remove IACV and clean it out and check the FITV also

I got some news for ya, nobody can ever fix a fluxuating idle, one's it's bouncing, it'll never stop, nobody's really found "the cure" for it, the basis behind it is that it's sucking air, either through a leaky gasket in the TB or the IACV, or soemthing in the vaccum system is leaking.....

Or the IACV is bad....if you cleaned the IACV then it's a leak someplace in the vaccum system, yes they're incredibly hard to find, yes usually people DO NOT find them, and YES it ******* sucks, have the same problem in my probe, and nobody's gotten rid of it, in fact, I've resorted to just leaving it at a garage until somebody fixes it, yeah, it's down there now
