Default idle question

i have a built d16z6 in my 92 si hatch, when i start it the idle goes up and down between 200-900 but maybe its from my cam? also on cold starts when i start it and hit the gas it will stick to 1.5k till it warms then it will do the 200-900 rpm climb, also i have a b18b throttle body on the oem z6 manifold but i can find no leaks what so ever

also when i slow down for a light i press the clutch in and it stalls on me. i have a lightend fly wheel and 6puck clutch, i thought it was that accidently grabbying so i blead it alot and didnt help, i also cleaned the tb and IACV any other ideas on what to try? i'd really appreciate it

Did you take a look at your fast idle thermo valve?

you probably need to replace the throttle cable same thing happend to one of my buddies when he ran a bigger TB... im just not sure if you need the b18 or a replacement... i would assume the b series.

im having the exact same problem.

similar setup as well.

the only difference is i have a skunk 2 im and a str 68mm tb.

i think the problem with mine lies in the TB.

im gonna change it back to stock in the next couple days and ill let you know if i find anything.

sounds good lmk if u find the problem,

i dont see how the throttle cable would fix anything, i have it adjusted pretty well just a tiny tiny bit of slack in it
