IDLE PROBLEMS AT FIRST, varys between 1 and 2 grand for the first 15 min.
94 hatch si with type r, start up and idles up and down between 1 and 2 grand for about 15 min and then does the same thing if i pull it in nuetral and park, then calms down and idles perfect. what the deal??

if you mean the idle does this after a cold start i think it is normal, anyone else care to chime in?
are you saying the idle is anywhere between 1-2 grand or that it fluctuates between 1-2 grand?

no, it fluctuates between that range. it has been a lil cold here, but the past couple of days it hasnt been and the same thing happenin. it fluctuates, then drops down and idles perfect a lil under a grand.

check spark plugs, check IACV, check intake manifold for leaks, vacumm leaks, coolant leaks, or coolant might need bleeding, could be bad o2 sensor, could be alot of things, i never figured it out and i tryed everything. but those are just some of the things people are gona tell you to do so im giving what i know to you. best of luck cause you will need it.
