Default IDLE PROBLEMS 93 civic si hb

Im having problem with my hatchback ..I got a regular d16 motor and my RPM keep going up and down from 1000-1500rpm and sometimes just drop to 900rpm and idle perfect...but majority of the time it goes up and down .Anyone knows whats the problem is?

check ur vacuum lines, my crx did that till i swapped it to a b18

Any DIY on it? Any other way to check on it even if you don't have the special pressure gauges?

haha just basicly adjust the idle CABLE, wouldnt suggest but better if you have no money for a TUNE-UP

Spray some carb cleaner around all your vacuum connections and where the intake manifold meets the head. Take your time doing this. When you spray the cleaner on a spot and the idle really surges, you probably found your leak.

Take off your IACV on the back of your manifold and clean its two ports out.
