Hi,
i've got a 93 del sol uk spec. its b16a2. problem i have is hight idle (1500-2000rpm).
did the ECL check and came back with code 9.
replaced the dizzy. code 9 fixed, no ecl light anymore, but idle is still high.
tried turning the dizzy a bit (dont have the timing light) and tried to adjust idle that way (sort of...).
anyway, the lowest idle i could get by adjusting the dizzy is just over 1000rpm. (by turning it all the way to the right).

just to add i cleaned the FITV, AICV. the're clean

any ideas?

Have you tried adjusting the actual idle screw thats on the throttlebody?

yeah just try turning the idle screw and put your timing back to stock. having it all the way advanced or retarded isnt good.

i know having it all the way retarded isn't good.
i'm going to get the timing set soon with the timining light to what its suppose to be.

i tried the screw...its all the way in.

any other ideas?
