idle problem
I have a d16z6 with stock internals, and have a stage 2 camshaft.
My idle sometimes is good, but most of the time it idle froms 1200rpms down to where its going to die and then I geuss the ecu makes it jump and it repeats. I replaced the idle control bypass valve(the valve with the wax plunger, attaches right under the mouth of the throttle body. I'm thinking that the iacv has gone out(the one that attaches to the back side of the throttle body, toward the firewall). But someone else said that the cam is effecting my idle. I'm not sure and before I spend $200 for a iacv, I might as well fix it the first time. thanx guys for any help/
