Default idle need help!!!!

alright need some help, got a 92 civic lx d15b7, and it is idling to high, i checked the timing and it was at TDC and my haynes says it should be at 16 degrees before TDC so i adjusted the distributor so that the tick make lined up with mark which indicates what 16 degrees BTDC is and now it idles higher than before which is one tick mark above 1000 rpm. so i thought it might be the throttle cable so i adjusted it as low as possible and it still idles the same. its been throwing two codes 41 and 43, 41 is o2 sensor heater and 43 is fuel pressure regulator or vaccum leak, can either of these codes have to do with the idle problem? some one help a brotha out please!!

get rid of your codes then worry about your idle...

theres always the idle adjustment screw on the Throttle body....turn clockwise to lower idle counter clockwise to raise idle..

yeah but changing the timing to the correct degree should not make the idle higher especiallay since it is the factory settings

yes because there is something else wrong with your car besides your timing...
