idle jumps from 1k -1.5k b16a2 HELP
okay i just swapped in a b16a2 mtoor into my EG and it started up just fine but my idle keeps jumping from 1000 to 1500 rpm's??? i cleaned out the screen on the IACV and it still does the same thing any suggestions? LMK thanks

There is most likely and air bubble in your coolant system. Try unbolting the coolant air bleed bolt on the front/bottom of the engine block... After the coolant has all come out of the bottom of the block, drain the radiator, then fill the radiator and resivoir back up with coolant to the top. Run the engine until the thermostat opens and fill as needed.
When you have a rough idle, most people say it is the IACV. Everytime I have run into a rough idle, it has always been air in the coolant system. Try this out and let me know.
