Default idle issues with headlighs on

Well I start off by the car is 93 Civic LX it is swap nothing much just a b20 basically stock. I'm having issues with my idle when I'm turning on my lights. My idles is at between 780-850 pending outdoor condition. I flick my corners and my idle will move about 50-80 rpms non problem here. Now I turn my head lights on and my rpms dip over 100rpm almost hits the 500rpm mark then has a weird idle surge but is really small but its noticble to the ear it bounces around 700-750 but none stop then comes the lag of response to the pedal and sometimes the rpms will drop so low after reving it or driving that it'll turn off or start surging worse. Only happens with the headlights. I have no PS or AC I checked my alt. And my battery multiple time with volt meter and midtronics

Yes cel works no code even unplug a sensor to check. And my grounds I cleaned em today they were dirty but still has the same issue. I even spent some time setting idle, I warmed up the car and everything and drove the car around with the lights on and nothing. Now its night here and I started the car let it warm all till it pass the white mark and started driving then flick the lights on every time I stopped the idle dip then started surging bad 500-800 I was getting upset and did a pull from 2nd to mid 4th stopped again and still surging drove another mile and park at my house and nothing the car stop surging I drove it around my block and nothing. Weird....

This happens at night only. Idk if because its cold. Sometimes while driving in 5th and coming to red I throw it in neutral the rpms dip so low the engine shuts off

Does your car have an electronic load detector?

Its in the fuse box under the hood by the battery...

Is it hooked up, or no?

The ECU should be compensating for "electronic/mechanical load"

What happens when you crank the power steering? Is the idle rising?

Brakes?

A/C?

Does it rise?

I drove my car without turning it off for about 96 miles mostly highway I drove the last 12 miles with the headlights on and the car ran perfect didn't surge or shut off. I'm guessing at night its still cold and not enough distance to warm up from my girls

Just a voltage/amperage drop.. your ECU should be compensating for it.

My Fan kicks on and my idle dips then returns to normal..

Since your running B20, call your tuner and have him check the settings.

Well I was able to figure out the issue after looking good at the wires for the plug to the alternator one of the wires was on its last leg, so redid em all. And swap out the fusebox with another one since mine had the casing crack. Now its perfect no surge or exaggerated rpm dip.

Awesome! By the way, where did you get the fuse box from?
