Default Idle/Ignition timing question.

When dealing with an idle problem, should one adjust ignition timing, or the idle screw first? I remember reading something that stated that one should be done before the other, but I can't remember the order. Thanks.

idle screw first. don't think you'll have to touch the ign timing but i could be mistaken.
