idle help...not iacv
I got some new b18c5 pistons in my b18c1 engine and now i have an idle of 1000 rpm and 1200 rpm it jumps back and forth between the two when the car is at a stop. any help would be nice. I know its not the iacv or the fast idle valve because i checked and this idle only happened after i installed the itr pistons in. any idea?

well you had to unplug the whole head harness to pull it off so i would double check all of yur connections and make sure you didnt plug in the wrong plug....also try to clean out your IACV as i may have gotten dirt in there as it was it unplugged when you did the pistons

get some brake cleaner, throttle body cleaner, or something similiar, and spray down the intake manifold.. check for vacuum leaks.. sounds like you have a leak

Re: idle help...not iacv (gsr96cx)
thanks alot guys i found the problem. i had to bleed my coolant. there was air in my coolant lines, and i just had to adjust my throttle body so i was getting less air and more fuel to fit in with the itr pistons since its a little higher in compression now. Thanks again for the help.
