before anybody asks, yes i searched this first for like a week. ive also posted on this and tried everyones suggestions and none of them worked. well after the research im down to the fast idle thermo valve and the idle air control valve. last night i re-bled my coolant and started up with radiator cap off and no load on engine. it was cool for 20 secs or so, then started irratic idle. i then took off intake and put my hand over the lower port for the fast idle thermo valve and it was sucking. so i went for a drive and warmed the car up nice. took intake back off and the fast idle thermo valve hole in the tb was still sucking. if i put my hands over the top hole or the bottom hole, or both, the idle dropped down to normal and stopped surging. my question is, which one is bad?? is it the FITV cuz its not closing off after the car is warmed up?? help me out here? wat should i do?
