idle flux on 94 civic cx 1.5L

Default idle flux on 94 civic cx 1.5L

my civic when it wars up and you come off the freeway and pop the clutch the ilde fluxuates from about 800-1500rpm and i cleaned the throttle body adjusted teh screw allteh way in and that helped a little and i replaced the fuel filter, and changed gas grades (from 87 to 93) and that helped a little. help i am stuck.

no vacuum leak either. it started when the guy i bought it from blew the motor and then the ilde problem happened when the dealer put the new one in. so he took it back and they said it is normal honda operation. i looked at every tsb and ther eis nothing on this. i am stumped.

adjust the FITV underneith the TB, until your idel is fixed. may have to test it out a few times with diffrent adjusting to the FITV. just leave the cap cover of it off, until u get it fixed until u want it. It is cover by 2 8 mm bolts i belive

it doesnt have that cover to adjust the idle now it will eventually steady out but the noise is still very annoying

it didnt have that cover over the FITV? or do u know what peice i am talking about? did you try adjusting it when the car was on?

its underneith the trottle body, search for FITV on this site and u will find a picture.
