Default idle air control valve

i have a 97 lx and my IAC valve is acting up. i replace it with another one but it still idles bad once in a while. any ifo on how too fix it would be grateful.

did you reset you ecu by disconnecting the negative battery terminal??

Could have air in the coolant.
Start the car with the rad cap off to burp it - let it run for a few mins
