identify this beotch
Is it obd0 or 1? My local junkyard wants 800$ for the longblock minus ac comp and Im thinking of buying it. Can I use my stock civic (Z6) engine harness, injectors and sensors that are damaged for the swap? Can he dizzy be rewired for obd1 (assuming its obd0) with my current dizzy plugs? Here are some pics. (There were 3 engines but I think they where all the same)

Re: identify this beotch (jetpilot)
looks to me like a SIR OBD-0 b16a block.. which can easily be bought for $400 in better shape at any of the big honda engine sellers

Yep on the pre OBD & the rip off. The injector plugs gave it away

I'd go with a d16z6 SOHC before I went with that overpriced piece of ****. Start working the z6 with the money you save and, before you know it, you'll have a twincam-slayer.

Yup, throw a turbo on a SOHC ZC and destory that B16 for what you would have ended up spending on a swap.

cant i just use my injectors and rewire the dizzy to use my obd1 ecu (i guess il use a p28 chipped)? If I go sohc I have to go turbo and that involves more money in the end, and a weaker engine to boot
