Default Ideas of what to do to 98 LX 4D Auto Civic?

Besides trade it in for a beautiful 2D coupe Manual...( Which I really want to. )

I'm changing my instrumental lights to blue. ( I've switched the #194, and I still have to do the four #24's but no one sells those...I have to order online, And I don't know where. )

My civics painted black right now, I might repaint it black or pain it yellow... ( Or something else if good suggestions. )

Altezzi Tail Lights ( Carbon Fiber? )

6x9 Alpine Speakers in the back

And x2 Subs in the trunk.

A nice small spoiler ( Ideas for this? )

Two Blue Neon Sticks under neath the dash where the foot area is. ( What size would be best for this? )

-

And to performance

Cold Air Intake
Exhaust?

Thanks! This is my first post soo....Hi.

Welcome to HT.

Before asking any questions, SEARCH! Most subjects you ask have been covered, in detail, many times before.

As far as your car, you appear to be geared more towards the cosmetic side. If thats the case, don't worry about having an auto. If you would like a faster car and are more performance oriended, I recommended selling the car and picking up a manual.

Good luck here... you'll need it.

depends on your cosmet fashion style and your performance goals (yes manual is the way, I still need to get there).

Altezzas are hard, if not impossible, to make look good on anything that isn't an actuall altezza (is300). I don't suggest it. I cry everytime I see a civic with it... whether you're Rice or JDM, it just doesn't fit on a civic

Why would you repaint it if it's already black? And the neon sticks... just grab them from pep boys or something? Not exactly what they call the "in" thing anymore, but I used to like it... Just don't go overboard and turn your car into a rave with blacklights everywhere. If you want neon sticks, 2 under the dash(1 for each side) and 1 under each front seat, stay to one color.

Speakers, can't help you. I don't know anything about speakers.

God save you from the flamers.

Thanks, I am more going for the cosmetic side ) The look I'm kinda going for is the Blue/Black look, I have gray interior which kinda sucks =\ )...just because MN's racing scene isn't that great and money issues. Yeah, a few people have told me about the Altezzas being very "rice"

I was going to repaint it black just to give it that new car look, maybe some turtle wax would work too. Yup, I think I'll grab the neon sticks tommarow and get them installed. Haha, I won't. I'm just trying to get some fun mood lighting.

I got my speakers picked out. Just need to save up!

And flamers...*Sigh* Oh well, I think I can handle them! *braces self*

welcome to honda-tech...now get rid of that LX and save up for a swap or just get a new car all together...for the amount of money you'd dump into it swapping to manual and engine swap you'd be better off just getting a differnt car from the beginning

Just leave it the way it is and save your money on something newer and nicer. Most of the stuff you listed and things you want to do fall in the "poor taste" catagory of most people. Not only on this board, but the general public as well. I garantee you that you'll turn heads, but it won't be in a positive light.

Good luck.

And you need to do the following, virgin:

Honestly Catalytic, either trade it in for something else or keep it, save your cash and buy another that's manual.

Honestly I hate auto's with a passion but if you're ever stuck in LA, New York, Toronto or (insert other gay city here) traffic, they make a difference.

Best of luck.
