Ideas for Budget EG engine for daily driver......
I bought a 94 CX a few months ago with the idea of swapping a B series into it. I still plan to do this but not for another 6 months or so. I may be leaving my job soon and I just need a daily driver for the summer so I can have some more stuff done to my Prelude.
I am looking for cheapcheapcheap.....
Right now the car has no motor/trans/ecu.
On a very tight budget, what would you install?
I have almost every possible D series available to me at almost no charge.
Someone suggested a D16y6 and another suggest some sort of JDM D15 that runs about $300 w/o trans.
I am looking for cheap, but also would like some power......I figure even with a stock D series in there, b/c of my weight....it'll still be pretty peppy.
100whp Monster!!!

Re: Ideas for Budget EG engine for daily driver...... (Ricey McRicerton)
Does anyone know what kind of JDM D series would be good for it.....
As I re-read my post......
I guess it should say: Cheapest, most powerful stock D series setup.
Should I just use the d16y6 trans too? ECU?
Thanks from this EG Super Newb!.....
