Ice in distributor?
I have a 94 hatch with an obd1 gsr swap, my alternator went last week and whn i changed it, it was raining out. The dizzy got wet and the car was not starting like when you get it wet. I took the cap off a coupke days later to see if it was wet inside to see if that was the problem but the cap and rotor werent wet. Could the water have gotten inside and frozen up causing it to not want to start? Would that cause permanent damage or would taking it off and bringing it inside to warm up and dry off possibly fix the problem? Kinda an odd problem and couldnt find anything on it via searching, any thoughts would help, thanks!

Stop hanging onto the idea of water in the distributor and give us some more details about the car's symptoms. Is it cranking over? Have you tested for spark? Have you tested for fuel? Is there compression? Does it make any unusual noises when cranking?

Re: Ice in distributor?
It has no problems with cranking, and holding the throttle wheel at like 2k rpms when trying to start it, it will start and run rough but any more or less throttle and it immediately dies
